Thanks so much for the shout out! You linked up some really great posts from this week. I’m gonna go check out your feminism and Hillary Clinton post when I’m finished here. 🙂 Also, I did see Hidden Figures! I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read the book yet but I’m going to!
The book for Hidden Figures does provide a lot more detail about the individual women’s lives and origins than the movie did, and it was also somewhat less sensationalized. It’s a good read!
Awesome! I’ll have to check it out. I usually prefer to read the books before watching movie adaptations, but in this case I messed up, lol. I actually wasn’t even aware that it was a book until I watched the movie!
Your perfect weekend day sounds blissful! Especially since I’m always fighting to get more alone time…hard with 2 little kids. I might have to check out The Every Girl.
And thank you for linking to my reviews and glad you’ve added those 2 to your TBR!
My husband and I like looking at Tiny Houses, too. That’s a beautiful one, and one we haven’t seen before. My husband’s determined that we’re going to have one someday, but I’m not so sure. I’ll want my kids to be able to come and visit and stay in the house with us. I told him he could make one for himself, though. 🙂

I have no idea how I’ll cope once I have a husband and kids since I’m so addicted to alone time 🙂 I guess it’s something you adapt to over time.

Well that’s what guest room lofts are for 😉 some of them have one on each side so there’s a ‘master’ and then a guest one.

My husband’s idea was to build two Tiny Houses next to each other with a (removable) connecting ramp. Ha!
